Life and art of a lost soul

Photographers job is hard…

Im not kidding. A coworker of mine talked me into taking pictures of his friends funeral. My first photographing gig. Major learning experience. A young man had been killed when the rear tyre of his new motorbike bursted at full speed. It was a sad funeral with lots of people. The day was an extreemley hot one with bright sunlight and sharp shadows outside and service being held in darkish church for the cameras eye. Its extreemely difficult to get any good photos in tose conditions. The pictures made in church had underexposed backrounds the pictures outside had strong shadows on everything… And you must always get everywhere ahead of the procession… Lots of running to and fro, constantly trying not to disturb the grieving. Sigh. Im never going to underestimate a photographers job for one thing.
